I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Globe Life (Concord, CA) in Aug 2024
Interview
It's a 3 - step process, virtual. First interview was less than 5 minutes long for me, not sure if that's normal for the first one.
Second 'interview' was a 40 min web seminar that teaches you a bit about the company and how it works. It's more of a presentation than an interview, but you have to answer some questions afterwards.
Third interview is a bit closer to a traditional interview, but talks more about the training and what to expect.
*If you don't have a state insurance license already, you are expected to pay around ~$400 to get the license. So if you're not already planning to get one, you have to put a good chunk of money before you even get paid. The state insurance license also takes about 4-6 weeks to test for and process, so you won't be paid until that time either.
Interviewer was polite and I appreciate the transparency in the end, but I wish this was discussed more upfront.
And yes, it is kinda structured like an MLM.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Globe Life (Birmingham, AL) in Mar 2026
Interview
Group interview setting was weird, odd pacing, and overly fast timeline to start. Pushy questions like rate 1-10 how ready and excited you are to start working. Higher up walking in mid 2nd round interview seemed like an odd tactic. Overall did not seem like a place that I would want to work
It was a three point process and the first one was a video that was definitely recorded, but made it seem like they were talking to you. Then they double messaged me so I got set up for the Video twice, but I have an interview and we’ll see how it goes.
2 interviews with a 3rd pending if selected. Group style interview. 1st is a few minutes to check you out as a person. Second is the group setting. It's very easy.
