I applied online and was asked to provide basic information about myself and take a psych test. At the end of the online application I was asked to sign up for a computerized test at SAM test at GlobalFoundries in Malta, NY. I took the test approximately two weeks after completing my initial online application. The test lasted roughly two hours and contained questions regarding personality, math problems, communication, and reaction time, among other things. I received an email from the HR department that evening sayingthat I had passed the test and was scheduled for an on site interview day three weeks later. The interview day consisted of a presentation on the company, a group activity, and two 30 minute interviews. I received an email the next day with my offer letter. I accepted the offer and began my employment at globalfoundries 3 weeks later. The entire process took 2 months.

Have you ever been asked in an interview “if you were an animal what would you be and why”? Didn’t know that was the basis for hiring someone but okay.
