      I applied through other source. I interviewed at Global Voices (Scotstown, Scotland) in Dec 2025

      Interview

      The candidate experience was disappointing. I was proactively contacted by HR about the role despite my profile clearly showing I’m not based near the office location. I asked early whether there was any remote flexibility. That question wasn’t addressed initially and I was instead sent the job specification. After following up and asking again, I received a curt response pointing back to the spec rather than addressing the question directly. Advice to Management Ensure outreach is aligned with candidate location before initiating conversations, and encourage HR to address candidate questions directly. Clearer and more respectful communication would significantly improve the candidate experience. I would expect better from HR. But I am not surprised at all.

      Thank you for your review. During the recruitment process all candidates are reached out to regardless of location as many people wish to relocate for the right role. When discussing the initial reach out all candidates are sent the job profile which states on this that we are office based 5 days per week from our Stirling location, As a company we can only improve on your feedback when responding to potential candidates or completing outreach for roles.
