Process consisted of a preliminary phone interview, four separate video Skype calls with HQ in Sausalito, followed by a face-to-face meet with my hiring manager in London.
Without being asked, I decided to put together a PR strategy with some of my thoughts for Glassdoor, along with a small portfolio.
The Skype interviews were quite informal, however some smart and tricky questions were thrown in for good measure. This style worked for me as it gave me the opportunity to pitch my opinions, previous experiences and plans for Glassdoor moving forward. They must have liked my answers, as I was eventually offered a job!
Some people may have called it a drawn out process, but I quite enjoyed getting to know different members of the wider PR team over the period of a month. Of course, I may have had a slightly different opinion if it hadn't resulted in an offer.
Throughout the whole process, HR were super efficient and supportive. Big thumbs up.
