      Client Success Manager Interview

      14 Jul 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Mill Valley, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in Jun 2014

      Interview

I was contacted by the Director of Client Success a few days after submitting my resume via employee referral. After a pretty standard phone screen interview I was asked to complete a Candidate Assessment test by the end of the week. The test consisted of about 4 different client scenarios and asked that you respond to each scenario as you would an actual client. There was also a section that asked you to identify the ATS (Applicant Tracking System) used by a handful of different companies. From there, I was asked to come in for a 1:1 interview with the Director of Client Success. During this interview we dug much deeper into my background, the position, and the company as a whole. About a week later I was asked to come in for an interview in which I was required to put together a presentation on myself for the entire Client Success team. The presentation is VERY open-ended, so it gives you a great opportunity to impress potential coworkers and prove that you're a good fit for the team. I received an offer the next day, and after a bit of negotiation I was happy to accept!

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in Mar 2015

      Interview

The interview process with Glassdoor was a great experience. The recruiters were very professional, efficient & timely. There were three interview rounds for me: one phone interview (pre-screen), a second phone interview with the Director of Client Services, and a third two-hour in-person interview with a 30 minute PowerPoint presentation to the team.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me about you. Tell me about your campaign management/recruiting experience. What makes you great at Client Services? Why Glassdoor? Why should we hire you? And, multiple behavioral interview questions.

      Client Success Manager Interview

      26 Jun 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Sausalito, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Sausalito, CA) in Sept 2011

      Interview

After a phone screen, I was asked to come in for some in-person interviews. I spoke with three members of different sales-related departments. The tone and feel was very conversational and relaxed. Honestly, at the time, I was leaning toward another offer. However, coming in and meeting the team made me realize that this was where I needed to be. I had a second in-person with the head of sales and I received a call with an offer later that day. I wanted to work in a "human" environment, yet also for a company with a competitive business model and unique value proposition. The interview process proved that Glassdoor was this kind of company.
