      Sales Operations Analyst Interview

      6 Aug 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Dublin, Dublin
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2018

      Interview

      0. Application submitted online 1. HR screener 2. Video interview with the hiring manager. The whole process seemed to be nice and professional. The video interview with the manager could have been a bit longer, I felt I didn't show off everything and the manager seemed to have another meeting or interview waiting so we couldn't extend the time slot. I received a personalized call a week after the video interview from a recruiter bringing me the bad news that I was not shortlisted to the next stage although in general the perception of me was positive. I didn't have enough sales experience that was important for that role and there were better candidates with such experience; I seemed to be a good candidate for data analyst role. The recruiter sounded really worried/devastated by the tone of her voice while sharing the news with me which actually made me smiley :-) but it was nice to hear those words as opposed to cold, automatically generated rejection emails used by most corporations nowadays.

      Sales Operations Analyst Interview

      22 Jun 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Mill Valley, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in May 2019

      Interview

4 rounds: Initial recruiter phone screen, hiring manager phone interview, onsite interview (about ~3 hrs with 4 people and an excel test) and final round phone interview with one team member who was unable to make the onsite. This was one of the more professional interview experiences I have had. The recruiter was informed about the company's current goals and how this role would fit into it. Additionally, she was very responsive on email/phone. I received a very complete agenda/schedule complete with Wifi instructions at the onsite. I was really impressed at how organized the interview process was.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Glassdoor (Mill Valley, CA) in Oct 2018

      Interview

Simple and straightforward interview process. I was fortunate to have a Glassdoor employee submit my application as a referral. I heard back from the recruiter the same day to setup an initial phone screen with her. Lastly I visited Glassdoor for 6 1:1 interviews with members of the Sales Ops and Sales teams. During my onsite interview, I was required to complete an in-person excel test which was straightforward if you have working experience with excel. The recruiter reached back out with an offer several days later. With 4-6 step interview processes becoming the norm in the tech industry, it was refreshing to experience a company with the confidence to trust it's team to interview and select a qualified candidate. Throughout the process, my interviewers challenged my thinking, but also boosted my confidence.
