i basically gave two rounds. first round was good and well asked me different questions regarding the HLD common questions regarding making queues fault tolerant, how to make read request faster, database indexes etc and loved the first interview. then in second round there was a wierd interviewer, i stalked him after the round and he was an SDE interviewing an SDE2 role round 2?. i m not sure if he is a top performer or something, but talking to him didnt feel like he was someone very knowledgeable. the question was about to implement a service which basically checks changes to a log file and continuously updates frontend a webpage. 1. i m able to tell this because i had to ask him multiple(4-5) times to get clarity on what his expectations are. 2. it was mentioned it is LLD round, not home assignment round, how are you supposed to brush up socket programming and implement this admist interview while you make code design as well. 3. such implementation wasnt practical. 4. the rude behaviour when i said i am lost in what is the actual expectation as i implemented and then he says he needs a different thing now. i m shocked that he blames me to be the one who should understand what hes expecting when i already asked him multiple times. it is rare that your manager wont collaborate with you to make you understand the expectations.. well the positive side is he saved me from being his colleague thats all i want to say. Feedback: second round is not practical and do not send Inexperienced folks to the interview who don't know how to take interview. juniors should take shadow interviews before taking real interviews.
