I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Georgia Tech Research Institute (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2018
Interview
I filled out an online application and was contacted in the next few weeks for a phone screen, where I was given some basic information about the lab (CIPHER) and the position and I expressed my interest in the opportunity. I went in the next week for an 2-3 hour in-person interview. There were both questions about my experience and skills as well as technical questions, I definitely made a lot of mistakes on the technical questions but the interviewers were great at letting me talk through my thought process and then helped explain where I was wrong if necessary.
For the first interview I was asked general questions. I was asked about specific things on my resume. Additionally, I was asked general behavioral questions like what are my greatest strengths/weaknesses
