      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Georgia Tech (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2025

      Interview

The process was clear, organized, and very human. I first met with the core hiring team on Teams for a conversational and round-robin style interview about my experience and approach to student support. The in-person panels at Tech were structured but warm, and everyone made space for thoughtful discussion. Lots of faces in one day, but that's fairly common in academia. Communication was fast and transparent, and I always knew what the next step would be. Overall, it felt collaborative rather than high-pressure.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What draws you to student success work, and how do you see yourself contributing to our mission here at Georgia Tech?
      Answer question

      Interview

Long and met with lots of people in the dept. A LOT of situational questions. "How would you handle..." "Tell us about a time when this happened - what went wrong and what could be done differently next time..." "You mentioned you have experience with this - go into more detail about that..." "Why are you leaving your job?"

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you handle a huge mistake with a big client? What would you do differently? What would you say to them to let them know this would never happen again? What steps would you put into place to make sure this never happened again? How would you remedy it right away and for the next time?
