I was called by a recruiting agency to be asked if I'm interested in a position at Genpact. Since I was looking for another job, I agreed and the sent my CV to Genpact. I was called by a human resources officer to ask me if I'm interested and I was told that I'll have two phone interviews to prove my language skills and we scheduled them. When I was supposed to have the interviews, I got ready and waited for 30 mins. I was eventually called, but by the person I was supposed to have the second interview with and I thought at first that I misunderstood and I kept waiting to be called by the first person that was supposed to call me for the first interview. I was eventually randomly called the next day and asked if I we can have the interview. I found that pretty odd, and unprofessional, but I agreed because I was at home. I got a positive feedback and called to be told to go to the face to face interview at Genpact. At that interview, I was asked as usual what motivated me to apply for their job. I find that question not appropriate when one is recruited and does not apply for a job. Afterwards, the human resources officer started to describe the job I went to the interview for, but I was surprised to find out that it had nothing to do with the job that I was presented by phone and interviewed for. I said that I didn't come at the interview for that job, which was some logistics job, but for the human resources one. The hr officer told me that that position was filled and if I am interested by the logistics one they have available and if we should proceed with the interview. I agreed and after we were done, she told me that I'll get a feedback by the end of the week, positive b phone or negative b email. I didn't get it and the recruitment company kept calling em to ask me about the feedback and I suppose they called Genpact and insisted to be given a feedback because after over 2 weeks I got an email with a negative feedback.
