I applied on the Genomatica website and I got a phone interview a few days later. The phone interview was about 40 min. The position was for a recent grad research associate position. The interviewer asked about my skills and about lab procedures/protocols. He asked why Genomatica and why not other companies. He also asked about my future plans.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Genomatica

Phone screen, in person interview. In person interview took 2 hours. Not many technical questions were answered. Some were personal questions and some were not very professional questions to ask. No job offer.
The interview was long, but I got to meet the entire panel of people I would be operating under. It was great speaking with everyone and everyone was very understanding as to what experience I had.
