Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at General Motors (GM) (Boston, MA) in Nov 2022
Interview
Very quick, good questions. I felt very comfortable and was given many opportunities to show my experiences. Took 45 minutes, online. Was not really given a chance to ask questions though.

Question 1
What was a situation in which you solved a complex problem?
Interviewed online by 2 experienced engineers. They were very nice people and while they had to ask me the regular STAR questions (which I was not good at) they were also interested in talking to me like normal people, which allowed me to really show off my personality and experiences, and learn about them and their work at GM. At the end of the interview, the interviewer told me I would get response in a week, and a week later I got a call and an offer. Happy with the whole process so far. *Pro tip*: on the email where you get your confirmation for your online interview appointment, the bottom should have the names of the people you will be talking to. You can look up their LinkedIn profiles and have a little head start on things you might want to ask them about in the interview. I think this feature should be available for all interviews because it makes it easier to make the most out of the hour conversation you're allotted.

Question 1
nothing technical (unless you want to talk about technical things on your resume), 5ish "tell me about a time when you ____" questions.
Started with a call with HR, took an online assessment about my process for thinking, then had one technical interview. Overall a quick process, around 30 days from application to offer.
