The process took 1 day. I interviewed at General Atomics (San Diego, CA) in Jan 2011
Interview
I got a phone call from an HR guy, he said the engineering manager wanted to do a phone screening interview. He had to reschedule once, but then called. It was awkward, and he was very much to the point. He didn't care about me, just wanted to know my experience, and seemed to try to find holes in my statements. He was very specific, and didn't put up with anything. He probably gets what he wants which is why he is where he is.

I applied online. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Jan 2025
Interview
First I spoke with a recruiter about the position and basic benefits information and next steps. Then I had a Teams interview with one of the department managers. Then I was told to wait to hear back. There is like a 5 step process.
