I applied online. I interviewed at Genentech (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2022
Interview
I started the process in February 2022; they reached out to attend an informational session on 3/22.
3/31 informational webinar meeting- this was GREAT! The hiring manager Teresa Muckel presented a 10-slide PowerPoint overview about the position and how the role fits and collaborates with other departments within the organization!
I received an email request for a formal interview3/23 with details on exactly what to expect for this process. They did a great job of letting you know there would be a total of 4 interviews, the dates the interviews would take place, and that they would notify you if you were not moving to the next round. This information was helpful in the process and highly considerate in a time when ghosting is quite common. The communication was apparent and professional throughout this process; what a wonderful organization with a great mission.
4/5- Panel interview #1 (1-hr)
I received feedback within 30 minutes that I was moving to the next interview panel.
4/11- Panel interview #2 (1-hr)
4/22- Panel interview #3 (1-hr)
4/22- Manager interview (30-mins)
There were a total of 3-panel interviews with about four interviewers in each one and a final interview with the hiring manager.
