Simple, basic computer knowledge needed in order to convey to the manager you know what you're talking about. Your main duties are to talk to clients about their technical problems, you must show the manager you can handle that.

Interview
First I applied online, then was invited to first submit a video interview. I was then invited to an in person interview with the geek squad manager, about a day later, was offered a second interview with the store director.

They asked about who you are, some scenarios, so on. Most are customer service based, as you would expect. I'd suggest talking about your IT experience (if any) when you're asked to introduce yourself and find ways to sort of tie it into certain questions where it would make sense to do so.

Interview is online due to covid. You will read the question and will have 30 seconds to prepare your answers. After that you will be recorded for 2 minutes. Around 10 questions total.
