I applied through other source. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Gates Foundation
Interview
Two months after submitting my resume, I received an email on a Friday that the HR recruiter wanted to talk to me on Monday. Our 30 minute conversation lasted over an hour. Very ordinary interview with no difficult questions. He said he'd get back to me in two weeks and I was welcome to inquire via email in the meantime. I reached out at three weeks and it took him a week to respond.
Screening interview with in-house recruiter, followed by separate virtual interviews with two hiring managers. Emphasis on past experience and vision for the role, which was new to the organization. Recruiter was extremely communicative throughout the process and I was kept informed of my status in a timely manner.

Question 1
What is your experience using evidence to advocate for a particular policy position?
I applied online. I interviewed at Gates Foundation
Interview
Started with a lightweight recruiter screen then a hiring manager interview. Then heard nothing for weeks only to get an automated rejection email. Common courtesy, once candidates have given multiple rounds of their time, should be to at least send a one sentence rejection from the recruiter.
Seem to really want a very specific background for candidates.

Give an example of developing evaluation criteria for an R&D project
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Gates Foundation (Seattle, WA) in Mar 2024
Interview
My experience with the interview process was quite disappointing, particularly due to the lack of communication. After the first interview, which seemed to go well, I was promised that I would receive options for the next set of interviews within a week. However, I heard nothing for two months. Eventually, I received a message stating, "As you may have surmised from the delay in updates, we have moved forward with other candidates for this role." Anyway, you will see that I am not the only one here.
