Be prepared for a long interview! Garmin will take you through several rounds of interviews. The first interview is with HR, the second interview was with the EHS manager. The 3rd interview was ridiculously long. I interviewed with four different people, all at different times, who all asked similar, if not the very same interview questions. I was absolutely exhausted by the time the interview was over -- I was losing it and running out of energy. What I'm most upset about, is that I feel they did not advertise the position correctly. Garmin is in the business of developing products that are continually changing, and because of that they are looking for someone familiar and knowledgable of Environmental Social Governance. Had they posted the job with that information specifically, I would not have applied for the job, because I do not have that experience. I made myself very transparent with who am, what my experience is, and what I have to offer. They should have not ever invited me in for a 3rd interview. Nevertheless, I'm out of 1/2 tank of gasoline, I used up 1/2 day of my vacation time, not to mention wasting my time. Not a happy camper here. Garmin cost me a time and money.
