Initial Screener Then interviewed with the hiring manager Once that went well I was asked to complete a take home assignment which I felt was fair in terms of seeing how I think without it being a free consulting exercise. Then I Interviewed with 4 other team members over the course of 2 days. Finally after about a week I received an answer (they decided to go with someone else). What REALLY stood out was that the recruiter followed up asking if it would be helpful to have a follow up chat. This is above and beyond anything I've seen at other places where it's usually just a "thanks but not thanks and good luck" email :) We had a follow up call where he went into a more detail on areas that the other candidate was stronger.
