I was initially invited to an interview by email, and given detailed information on how to find the place (it was in another location at the time). I interviewed with Mark, who seemed both very professional and also like a good guy. We talked about the duties of the job, the possibility for promotion, and where I saw myself in five years. After my interview, a select few of the interviewees were given an assignment related to the kind of work we would be expected to do in the position. I completed the assignment and emailed it back. A day or so later I received a call from Mark offering me the position and naming the salary.
