      CNC Operator Interview

      29 Sept 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Milan, IL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GETT Industries (Milan, IL) in May 2015

      Interview

Went in and talked a bit about my experience running CNC machines. Then discussed programming in g-code and how I would program certain operations. I was quizzed on a couple g and m codes to demonstrate that I knew them and how they were used. I was extended an offer and we negotiated pay. Overall, a fairly straight interview for someone reasonably prepared.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is the m-code M98, and how is it used?
