I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO (Chevy Chase, MD) in Dec 2013
Interview
First, there was a short phone interview that asked most of the basic questions, so the recruiter could get a "sense" of you. This was followed by a series of on-site in-person interviews back-to-back in one day. The on-site interviews were with supervisors and managers, who all asked similar questions. There was also a short skills test involved.
The interview included behavioral questions, a case study focused on data interpretation and business reasoning, and a SQL technical assessment. It was conducted by multiple directors and covered both soft and technical skills.
