I applied for a position on the Management Development Program and received a call from the local recruiter to discuss the opportunity further. The recruiter was pleased with my experience and I was then asked to send over my transcripts to ensure that I met their minimum requirements to be accepted for the Program. After waiting for almost a month, I received a call back from the recruiter to explain that as they were unable to convert my foreign (British) Bachelors degree therefore I could not be considered for the role. I am surprised that the recruiter wasn't aware of this prior to contacting me as my resume clearly showed that I had a foreign degree, I also confirmed this on the call with her and I can't imagine that I am the first British person to apply for this role.
