I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Buffalo, NY) in Aug 2017
Interview
The process from applying online to getting an official job offer took less than a week. Very easy phone interview, followed by a typing/multi-tasking assessment, then first in person interview with an HR person and a role-play where they call you from another room and you have to try to sell a product to them. If you pass that you then shadow an actual sales associate while they talk on the phone, followed by your final interview with the hiring manager. Very thorough process but not too difficult if you do okay being put on the spot. Consent to the background check and take an (on-site) hair analysis drug test and a week later got an official email congratulating on passing background and confirming my start date.

Question 1
How would you convince a customer to buy something if they didn't want to?
It was very good! Very nice! Everyone was pleasant. Loved the experience! Would absolutely recommend to everyone near and far! Great company! People love it! They are very welcoming and accommodating!
It was pretty straightforward. They asked routine questions and got back to me in maybe three days. They didn’t drag it out. The hiring manager was really nice to speak to and I have no complaints.

Interview
It was great. Good questions. Exciting opportunities. The office was very impressive. I felt particularly challenged when given hypothetical. The office was empty for the holidays so they played a recorded call.
