      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE HealthCare in Mar 2022

      Interview

I interviewed with GE Healthcare at the beginning of March 2022 for the position of Research Scientist. Honestly, this was one of the most disorganized interview processes I have ever encountered. After my CV was selected for the next round, I had an interview with the recruiter for about 30-45 mins. After that, I was told I would be moving forward. I had one-on-one interviews with 5 people from the team (and their collaborators), each for about 45 minutes. I personally feel my interviews went pretty well; I also met some fantastic, smart folks during the interview with the team. This is where my experience turns completely negative! I never heard back from the interview process. I emailed the recruiter multiple times, and he never responded. I feel the least they (especially the recruiter) could do is respect the candidates interviewing for the final round and at least respond. It seems like GE has contractor-based recruiters, and they really don't care about the candidates. I got in touch with one of the interviewees and asked him about my interview. He also wasn't aware of what was happening with the position or the recruiting process. He tried asking around for me but couldn't find out anything. 3 months later I still haven't heard back from them. I have obviously moved on, but they really need to get it together. The role was interesting, and I was really looking forward to the response from the team. If you are interviewing for GE, good luck, but I would not put all my hopes into it. If you get another offer, go for it, don't waste your time here.
