G2 Web Services Software Engineer interview questions

Career fair chat. Coding tests. Onsite.Design the game of chess(Whiteboard). Basically were trying to judge my approach. Explain projects. Algorithms. Asked questions on restfull web services and troubleshooting. How would you troubleshoot a server.

Initial interview process was a short discussion with the HR recruiter. Then passed my information on to the SDE liaison for this position who performed a phone technical interview. He was very friendly and this process wasn't overly intense. We also just discussed the position in general to get a better feel of each other. The final step was an in person interview - I met with 4 people for a panel interview that was very technical. We discussed SQL, Rails, and other particulars of the position. I then met with a Project Manager and a Project Lead which was technical but again to just figure out how I would fit with the team.
