G&C Auto Body interview questions

I applied via email and got a response from their hiring manager. We scheduled a phone interview and then on the day of, G&C cancelled, citing a medical emergency. I followed up, and stayed on top of it, and just received an email saying they filled the position. I find this incredibly unprofessional and inconsiderate. Maybe it's a blessing - I don't think this is a company I'd ever want to work for if they treat people like that.

Had a very interested phone call from their recruitment person as soon as I applied on Indeed.com. Submitted references like they asked for. Then nothing. They didn't call my references, or check with my previous employer. Then suddenly I get a phone call from one of the Co-owners from his mobile phone while I'm pretty sure he's driving. Asks me all these questions, sounds interested, asks me if I have any questions. Then nothing. I never heard back. They never checked any of my info.
