      Sales Executive Interview

      30 Jan 2025
      Anonymous employee
      Colorado Springs, CO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at G-P (Colorado Springs, CO) in Apr 2022

      Interview

Fair and straightforward. Skills assessment, job based questions, acumen is a plus. Interview with recruiter and then 3 different sales leaders before offer. Everyone is very easy to get along with at this company so the IV's can be tricky but are fun and not intimidating.

Interview process was easy and informative. My recruiter was friendly and everyone moved accordingly to my timeline. You do have to do a sales role play as the final round.

      Sales Executive Interview

      2 Jul 2018
      Anonymous employee
      San Diego, CA
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at G-P (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2018

      Interview

The first interview was a phone screen. It was a bit more comprehensive than the typical background only questions. It felt very conversational and pleasant. The next interview was a face to face meeting with two of the sales managers. They were both engaged in the conversation, smiled a lot and really went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Sure there were questions - some tough - but again it just felt like we were in a conversation. The final interview was a face to face with the one of the sales managers and the VP of Sales. She was very smart, very savvy (as were the others that I met) and also great at asking tough questions in a way that they did not feel tough. So the net-net is they were looking for sales skills, but also a cultural fit. Bottom line is I have never experienced a more organized interview process in my entire career. The people - all of them - went out of their way to make this a great experience.

Thank you so much for your comments and review! We really appreciate your kind feedback and words. We do a fairly rigorous interview with sales associate candidates because we invest heavily in training. It's better for all parties if we're *sure* our new hires will make it (or as sure as possible), and what we sell is fairly technical, hence the tight interview process. Thank you again, and welcome aboard!
