1st stage was easy (HR), 2nd stage was a 1 hour pair programming session in vanilla JS. It's one of those algorithm tests thats more like a university challenge, useless in the real world but it's really difficult to pull off unless you have practiced Hacker Rank style questions before. The test I got was they had a string of numbers/letters and write a compression/decompression algorithm.

Phone call with recruiter followed by a live coding challenge with 2 of their devs. The recruiter took over 2 weeks to get back to me on Hackajob after the coding challenge. Their reply was just a generic message with no specific feedback. The feeling I got from the coding challenge was positive, the guys were friendly and we made good progress with the complex exercise in the short time span. My advice is to keep candidates in the loop, no matter what goes on internally. 2 weeks is not acceptable in this day and age.
