I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Funcxnal (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2017
Interview
Intro round followed by 4 other rounds. Intro round was basically an understanding of my past work ex and my overall personality. Usually candidates get rejected in the intro round itself as you are asked before ane expected to make a factual and data backed intro of your achievements from the past.
Next round was another face to face round with the board of directors where I was grilled on various datasets in my then existing role. Majority of the questions were around traction, engagement, traffic, promotions and viral validation of the platform I was working upon.
Another round followed where I was judged on what I could achieve as a leader for funcxnal and this is the round where it gets tricky. Here you need to come with an Unlearn approach and focus more on what you are going to achieve and try displaying your skills on the basis of what changes and growth you are going to bring if hired. You are asked a create a world class PPT on the solutions offered by Funcxnal. Last round was an interactive session with the HR. Interaction is planned around finding out your fittability within the existing work culture.
