      I interviewed at Fruition

      Interview

Fruition sought me out for an interview, scheduled it out weeks in advance, and then cancelled an hour before as they'd already filled the role. Very unprofessional. Why spend all that time stringing me along?

Thank you so much for taking the time to write about your experience with an initial interview scheduled at Fruition. I am really sorry to hear that the experience wasn't excellent. For that role, we didn't receive a lot of applicants and interest in the role. We scheduled the first interviews as the qualified applicants applied and yes - we had interviews lined up over the course of a few weeks. Your feedback is welcomed and we are working to improve the interview schedules and notice process with informing applicants that they did not get chosen. We will be opening another SEO role soon and hope you would consider applying again with our team. Please always feel open to reach out directly if you have any questions or additional feedback. Jim

      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Fruition (Denver, CO) in Jul 2019

      Interview

Doesn’t surprise me at all that the last interview review also involved sketchy communications... I had 2 phone interviews before an in-person interview. I was asked to prepare a presentation for the in-person, which I did. All seemed to go well until after. They told me they would contact me the next week. They didn’t, not even a response to my follow up. Ok cool, I didn’t get the job. No big deal. Until... I got an email two weeks later saying they’d contact me in two days with “next steps”. Nice! I followed up that I was looking forward to hearing back. Two days passed, and nothing. So I followed up. Nothing back. I followed up again the next day, and finally I get a phone call saying that they’ve selected someone else for the position, but they’d get back to me with “further opportunities”. Ok... why even bother to contact me two weeks after the fact? And why do it in such a confusing and rude way? Also, the job posting I had applied for was back online again the same day, so evidently it had not been filled. Totally unnecessary, rude, untimely and weirdly discouraging. I honestly wish I had never applied.
