Interview
First-round: Small panel with research team
Second-round: Case interview with research/commercial team
Third-round: 1:1 interview with FV head
Interview questions were thorough and designed to assess background and aptitude for economic/political research in a private sector advisory context. First-round interview had a mix of behavioral and technical questions on theoretical macroeconomics and political trends. Second-round case interview entailed preparing a ppt presentation on a topic relevant to the region/role you're applying for, presenting the content and Q&A with the team. Modeled on a what a typical client presentation looks like, so although it's some work it gives candidates a good idea of whether they are a fit for the job and would enjoy working there.
