The interview was conducted online via Microsoft Teams, which was one of the best aspects of the process. The company respected candidates' time and avoided making them spend hours on interviews or travel to the office in the summer heat.
The interviewer was very friendly and welcoming, which helped me feel comfortable throughout the conversation. The questions were relevant to my experience and knowledge, making the interview feel professional and engaging.

Question 1
What do you know about the company and our offerings, about my experience, about the projects i have worked on
I applied online. I interviewed at FrieslandCampina (Budapest) in Apr 2026
Interview
I applied for a senior Global Data Governance Lead position and went through an initial interview process. After that, the communication became extremely slow and unclear.
For several weeks, there was no proactive update. I had to follow up multiple times to understand whether I was still being considered. At one point, I was explicitly told that I was still active in the process, but no concrete timeline or next step was provided.
The final rejection came almost eight weeks after the interview.
For a senior-level role, the process showed poor candidate communication, weak timeline management and very limited transparency. Candidates are expected to prepare seriously and invest time, but the process did not reflect the same level of respect or ownership from the company side.
The main takeaway for me: if this is how a senior candidate is handled after an interview, other candidates should be prepared for a long period of uncertainty and very limited proactive communication.

Question 1
How do you balance data governance with business agility and speed?
I had a nice experience during the interview process. The expectations were shared and even though I didn't get an offer, it was nice to get feedback from the recruiter.
