I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Freelancer (London, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
I was put in contact by a recruiter with Freelancer . My only process step consisted in one phone call with a PM. The interview had good vibes but I had to dig to know what was exactly the scope of the role.
Also, it was quickly obvious that I did not have the required skills and I felt from the tone of the interview that the process will end here.
Moreover, I was asked some out of the box "product" question such as :
What is an URL?
How would you monetize Whatsapp?
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Freelancer (New York, NY)
Interview
Applied online and heard back within a week. The interview was a one-on-one session with the team lead. It was more of a conversation about my skills and how they fit the current team's needs. The interviewer was friendly and gave me a good overview of the company's culture. Even though it didn't work out, the experience was positive and the feedback was constructive.
