I applied for this position as I have experience as a Security Officer in casinos. They called to schedule an interview, and I showed up on the day/time agreed upon... And the manager didn't know who I was or why I was there. I had to wait by the back door for 40 minutes for him to finish the work he was doing when I showed up...and then he finally interviewed me. I thought it went great...I felt really confident about possibly landing the position. A few days later I wanted to follow up, but the manager that interviewed me didnt have any idea about what happens after he pushes my application forward to HR And HR's number went straight to voicemail. I left a professional message, and received no call back. Tonight at midnight, 8 days later I got a rejection email that told me they're going with other candidates and good luck on my career journey. I can't help but feel this was one of those ghost ads..because the position is still up but they didn't hire anyone, and management knew nothing about any interviews. Shame, I wanted to work there..but seeing how unprofessional that whole process was has absolutely changed my mind. Bullet dodged, I guess.
