I received a proposition for a Senior Front End Engineer position via LinkedIn. The description clearly stated that this is a Front End vacancy and after a first stage interview with HR everything looked very promising. For the second stage, I received a technical task, which seems to be the same as posted for the last year. I've completed them successfully and set the third stage for a technical interview. During the tech interview, I answered all the questions but they were not a front end oriented, indeed a backend totally. Having some experience with backend development I did my best, and the interviewer seemed quite promising in his exception. Nevertheless after a couple of days later I've received a refusal.
The key point of such "let me hire you" is that one shouldn't propose a "full-stack I know everything" position to the front/back-end developer in a first place.
