Interview
I applied for an analyst position online and received a call from an HR recruiter shortly thereafter. He conducted a brief telephone interview and then set up a series of phone interviews with others on the team I would be working with. After the phone interviews I went to Cambridge for a full day of 1:1 interviews which were, for the most part, chatty discussions based around background and scenario questions. Out of seven in person interviews, two were what I would classify as difficult: Tough questions from seemingly gruff individuals. After the 1:1 interviews, I was told the next step would be to write a research report and then, following edits, present my findings to a panel of analysts. However, prior to moving to that next step - a process that would have taken several more weeks - I was offered another analyst position, which I accepted

Multiple rounds and thoughtful interviewers willing to challenge you. Just wasn’t the right fit at this time in my career. They’ll go through your references and offer the clarity you want to make an informed decision.

A series of 1:1 conversations with existing analysis. 3 of them were friendly chats the 4th was very pointed and difficult. All of them were remote by phone call or video conversation.

Multistep process as described on their website! The recruiter that I worked with was very nice and helpful. Pretty standard interview questions across the board - nothing out of the ordinary.
