I applied through university. I interviewed at Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, MI) in Apr 2014
Interview
Typical situation based interview. Employees seemed genuinely excited about the direction Ford was heading as a company. They expressed confidence in Ford's business model. After about 2 hours of questioning was complete. It was really good experience. They roll out the red carpet for travel, lodging, and food.

Question 1
Interview was on par with most situation based interviews. No technical questions were asked. Your resume should speak to your technical experience. Just to be prepared to be surround with about 8 to 9 more candidates who are just as nervous as you are, but once the conversation starts your nerves will settle.
one round interview process. One hour interview across the technical and all other soft skills questions. Technical part covered more about the previous work experiences and projects I did. Soft skill questions included the project management and the previously project example.
One one one with a senior member from the engineering team during a national engineering conference in the southeastern united states.
Two round interview. Was pretty straight forward. No curve balls.

There were three interviewers, all behavior questions and last 30 minutes. The interview was shaky because the questions were unusual but they were supportive of the answers and very communicative.
