It starts with HR interview screening process. Then goes with first phone call from technical person. I was quite satisfied with the HR screening process. HR did quite good job to explain the company and the position. However I felt insulted with the technical phone screening phase. I have applied for a Senior position which I had more than 10 years of experience and get the questions to a Junior maybe to a graduate. Mostly the questions were coverage from RHCSA. I didn't understand the reason behind of some questions. (Who would ask a system engineer write a for look and expect to memorize the syntax, with all the curly bracelets, semicolumns...) on phone interview? I am not sure if the job would require to write a script on phone . I felt like they were looking for the one and only answer even though you could find 3 of them at least.
I wonder who is still using sticky bits?
Well I couldn't make to the next round, I would like to see what would be the next.
In overall, I think the team is quite rigid and not open to new things. Many people may have chosen it, because it means the environment is stable.
