I applied online. I interviewed at FloQast in Apr 2026
Interview
Went through a technical talk over my resume then did a virtual onsite across 3 45 minute interviews. Two technical portions and one cultural fit. Overall the people I talked to were nice and easy going. During the actual interview the conversations felt very casual at points which helps with the nerves.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FloQast (Pune) in Aug 2025
Interview
1. DSA / Technical Coding Round
The first round focused on data structures and algorithms.
I was given a few coding problems that tested problem-solving, clarity of thought, and the ability to write clean, efficient code.
The interviewer was friendly, communicative, and gave helpful clarifications when needed.
Overall, it felt more like a collaborative technical conversation than a pressure test.
Positive impression:
The interviewer genuinely wanted to understand my approach, not just the final answer. I appreciated how supportive the environment felt.
2. System Design (HLD/LLD) Round
The second round explored both high-level and low-level design concepts.
I was asked to design a feature and walk through architectural decisions, scaling considerations, and trade-offs.
The interviewer encouraged me to think aloud, which made it easy to discuss ideas openly.
They also valued simplicity, structure, and real-world reasoning.
Positive impression:
The conversation was thoughtful and engaging — it felt like brainstorming with a future teammate. I walked away learning something new as well.
3. Team Fit / Behavioral Round
The final round focused on cultural fit, communication, and collaboration.
We discussed my previous projects, work style, and how I approach challenges.
The interviewer shared insights about the team’s culture and expectations.
It felt very natural and conversational — more about alignment than interrogation.
Positive impression:
FloQast’s culture came across as supportive, respectful, and growth-oriented. The interviewer made me feel comfortable, and it was easy to picture myself working with the team.
All three rounds were smooth, well-structured, and professional. The interviewers were warm, encouraging, and genuinely invested in evaluating both technical ability and team alignment. The process left me with a very positive impression of FloQast and its people.

Interview
There was an initial technical interview that lasted about an hour. Then a follow up 3 hour interview where I met with 4 different people. Everyone was super nice and none of the questions were difficult. Disappointed that I wasn't selected in the end.
