After I applied, I received an email from a bot that they would like to get to know me through a call and gave me a link to schedule. Long story short, the interview never happened because they kept canceling the interview on a very short notice, around 1-2 hours before the interview. The availabilities were very few, only 2-3 slots to choose from and far ahead like 2 weeks apart from the canceled appointment. It was quite frustrating that they canceled twice, the first cancellation came from the bot called Ally and the second one from the recruiting lead but without giving any reason. When I sent them an email to the recruiting team and also to the recruiting lead to ask for more details and different slots, there was never an answer coming back. On the second scheduled interview, I booked it during my holiday which was not ideal. Even though I asked before if they could provide me another slot, they never replied and as I was interested in the position, I decided to take what was given and had to move some other appointment to accommodate this one. I put prio on the process but seems like they did not really care and did not bother to reply at all even after I gave feedback and still politely said that I would still be open for a call if they could provide me some more slots that could work for my calendar. Overall, this was probably the worst interview experience I have ever had! At first I thought it was cool that they automate part of the process by using the bot but after this experience, I think they have not figured out how to use it effectively. It is actually working against them and not for them. Instead of helping speeding up the process, it shows inflexibility and creates frustration with canned replies. After more than 1 month, the first screening call could not happen and that definitely tells a lot about how they are carrying out the recruiting process there at Flix. I cannot imagine myself working here and also would not recommend this process to anyone.
