      Senior Recruiter Interview

      21 Jul 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Antonio, TX
      Declined offer
      Negative experience

      Application

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flextech (San Antonio, TX)

      Interview

Initially I was approached for a recruiter role, and respectfully declined I wanted a management role. I received a follow up call stating they had a leadership opportunity but that I would start as a Sr. Recruiter. There'd be no time limit to when I could be promoted, but not guaranteed. Which is completely acceptable. Interviewed 4x in person, had countless phone calls and emails back and forth. Along with two lengthy tests/questionnaires that collectively took 4 hours. 3 weeks later, I get a low offer with less than promised. When addressing the issues and concerns, my offer was later rescinded because my inquires for the things I was mislead on made me "too difficult". Although the staff is nice, I made my expectations clear prior to getting started, the process was lengthy, time consuming, and misleading.
