I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Flex (Austin, TX) in Jul 2013
Interview
Got called from Aerotek for a position of Test Engineer for Flextronic and set up a group interview with the engineering manager with 3 other people. The question is straight forward from the book. an hour after i got home, Aerotek called me and told me that they're offering me a position there but because they're in dire of people, they did not give me time to think about it.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Most of the questions are straight from the book so i am pretty much ready for it. for example: tell me about yourself, what do you see yourself in 5 years, tell me about the time that your project is failing and how you solve it.
I interviewed at Flex (Kampong Bukit Minyak, Pulau Pinang)
Interview
In Flex, the interview process is designed to be dynamic and candidate-friendly, typically starting with an online application followed by a recruiter screening to understand your background and interest. If you move forward, you'll likely have a virtual interview with the hiring manager, focusing on your skills, experience, and alignment with Flex’s values. Depending on the role, you may be asked to complete a technical assessment or case study. Final stages often include a panel interview with cross-functional team members to evaluate collaboration and culture fit. The process concludes with reference checks and, if successful, a job offer and onboarding.
