I interviewed in October for a senior “strategic” role. The process felt disorganized and inconsistent from the start. The recruiter appeared distracted and unimpressive throughout the call, offering little structure, unclear communication, and no meaningful insight into the role, team, or company. Several parts of the process were repetitive or disconnected from the role’s scope.
They mentioned having many qualified candidates, yet the position keeps getting reposted for over 2 months, which makes the company look disingenuous and lacking the ability to be honest and transparent. The recruiter screen was one of the weakest I’ve experienced — essentially just “tell me about yourself,” followed by no substantive information and awkward energy. It genuinely felt like pulling teeth to get even the basics.
I rarely write reviews, but this experience stood out in a negative way. There are many capable recruiters in the market, and it was surprising to encounter recruiter with a Senior title and 4 years of tenure with such an unimpressive first level representation for a company that claims to be fast paced and high growth.
