I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Phoenix, AZ) in Nov 2016
Interview
It was a very lengthy process, and had to talk to many people but was a positive experience overall. I had met a recruiter at a career fair and did not know much about Fisher Investments. She promptly explained about the organization and then began probing me for information to see if I was a fit. We got along very well, and it seemed like I was a good fit for the position. They scheduled me the first interview at my university before the recruiter even let. After that, there was quite a wait, but I was contacted by a talent manager and began the process of further interviews and setting up with a hiring manager. All together, they screen me through three people over 2 months before I even got to talk to someone important. The questions got increasingly difficult, and even made me pause. I think they know the exact kind of person they are looking for and if you don't meet it. They will tell you quickly. I am currently in the final round so one more interview then hopefully an offer. Overall, I have had a very positive experience with Fisher Investments.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Mar 2026
Interview
It was a 30 minute phone interview with the hiring team basically going through my resume asking questions about it as well as some behavioral questions. It was. average difficulty overall and I made to the next interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Tampa, FL) in Feb 2026
Interview
Easy short phone call. Basic behavioral questions. Lots background details about Fisher that is not really needed in a first interview. The flow of the interview is weird because you go from answering questions about yourself to hearing about the pay structure of the company and then back to more questions about yourself.
