I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Firecakes Donuts (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2022
Interview
Everyone was very friendly and quick responses after applying. Managers were introduced and had clear expectations and thoughtful questions. Overall, I felt very welcomed and that I could be myself throughout the entire process and they were very open about salary and what the typical workday would look like while figuring out how my schedule fits in with their current employees.

Interview
easy, but long for a minimum wage job. email exchange, interview with avg questions and then a stage where you work unpaid for a few hours to "see if we both like the position" (why would I apply if I don't think ill like it?) then more waiting...took about 3 days to get offered the job, followed by 4 days of training. They want someone with experience, so after the first day i could have done the job.

Interview
Easy interview. It’s entry level but if you have any experience like barista or desserts or customer service you will be 90% there.
Customer service and food service are the most important things. Make sure to smile and be excited about the position and be able to answer “tell me about yourself” without just talking about your past jobs. They like hiring people that want to work in a family business
