The interview process was quick and easy. I did a 10-minute phone call with one manager and another 10-minute in-person interview with another. After the interviews, I sent a follow-up email to the 1st interviewer because that was the only contact information I had, but didn't hear back (they weren't the direct hiring team). I finally got a call after 2 weeks from the hiring team with a verbal offer and a start date. After that, I didn't hear from the company until my start date had passed. No written offer and no paperwork that they said they would send over. I tried to call and follow up with someone from the hiring team, but no one called me back. Once my supposed start date had already passed, they tried to call me again, but I had already accepted another job.
Overall, just messy, and I didn't appreciate the lack of communication. It's a huge red flag to ghost someone after you verbally offer them a job, since the candidate starts making arrangements expecting to start a new position.
