      Android Developer Interview

      7 Apr 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 11 months. I interviewed at Fetch in Mar 2025

      Interview

As soon as you get the take home assessment you must be excited and ready to implement the assessment to the best of your ability, but listen they will never get back to you. So please dont take it, they will never get back to you. - Don't take the take-home assessment, the Android developers at Fetch don't know how to write code and they ask other developers to take the assignment and devs there try to copy and use snippets from your assessments. You are basically doing free work for them.

      Android Software Engineer Interview

      16 Jul 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Bentonville, AR
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fetch (Bentonville, AR) in Nov 2020

      Interview

Fairly standard process of completing a take home exercise, then a phone screen, and then an on-site interview. The take home exercise was really quite basic when it comes to app development and could easily be completed in a few hours by people with every level experience. The phone screen was discussion around the take home exercise asking questions about why I made certain design choices or what I would change if the requirements were slightly different. The on-site was done via zoom, there was some changes from the original schedule because one of the people I was supposed to meet with wasn't available, but they got someone else to fill in. There were two technical portions to the interview, one about API design and another quick coding challenge. Both portions were quite easy as I was coming from another Jr level position. The other portions were ranging from a team fit to getting to know the company.

Fetch data from an API, sort it, and display it in a list.
