I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fetch in Mar 2025
Interview
The audacity to ask candidates to complete a "small" coding assessment to build and deploy an entire application is baffling to me. I didn't even get a recruiter call before being sent the assessment. Don't expect quality candidates to invest any time in your interview process before you've invested any time in them.

Question 1
Build and deploy an entire front end application which needs to consume APIs, Authenticate users, and have a dynamic UI.
First you start with a take home test. This is reviewed closely including small details, automatic testing, etc. If you past this, they call you to do a review of take home to ensure you did it and understand it (rather than copy/pasting AI). Finally you do on-site with in person coding challenges.

Question 1
Live coding exercises with any language you prefer
Just like everyone else in here I was assigned and take home assessment. Once I finished I was able to submit everything and 6 days later a standard boilerplate of a rejection. This is a lesson learned never do a take assessment before talking to someone with the company. To this day the role is still open seems like they got unrealistic expectations of what they actually want. Avoid at all costs.
