Interview
I gave a presentation to five engineers then they asked me a lot of technical questions for the first half of the day. After lunch they took me individually for 30 minutes each and showed me around the lab and what they were working on to give examples of what I could expect to work on if hired.
If you were designing a concrete dam, from a birds eye view, with the river water flowing from left to right, would you make your dam concave “ >>) “ convex “>>(“ or flat “ >>| “ and why?
The interview process included a technical presentation I prepared, about 3 hours of technical questions, then about 3 hours of touring the lab to see current and past work related to the job.
