Feed the Children interview questions

I completed an interview with a recruiter who asked me to fill out a lengthy application. I was happy to know that I was short-listed and was eager to hear back from the organization. I did not hear anything for months. Finally, after four months of my initial interview I learned that were no longer hiring for the position. I wish they had informed candidates sooner.
